What is Scalapay?
Scalapay is an innovative payment method that allows you to purchase your favourite jewellery and watches on the BlueBird online store or in one of its 14 stores. By choosing Scalapay, you can receive your order immediately and pay for it in 3 or 4 monthly instalments. If you pay on time, there are no additional costs or interest.How does the Scalapay payment method work?

How do I buy with Scalapay?
To pay using the "Scalapay" payment method, select this option at checkout. Follow the instructions to create your account or log in if you already have one. You will need to add a card from which the instalments will be charged. It is not necessary to link your bank account. You can also download the Scalapay app.Which cards are accepted by Scalapay?
Scalapay accepts all major credit, debit, and prepaid cards, such as VISA and MASTERCARD, as well as prepaid cards (including Postepay).
However, not all cards function in the same way with Scalapay. If you are using this payment method for the first time and using a prepaid or debit card, you may have a lower likelihood of completing the purchase, even if sufficient balance is available. Payments are automatically charged on the due dates to the card you have selected.
Is there an order value limit for using Scalapay?
Yes, there is. The Scalapay Payment Method can only be used for orders with a value between €50 and €3000. Credit approval is entirely subject to Scalapay's decision.When are instalments charged?
Instalments are charged monthly as follows:
• 1st instalment: at the time of purchase
• 2nd instalment: 1 month after purchase
• 3rd instalment: 2 months after purchase

How are my instalments charged?
Your instalments are automatically charged to the card set as your primary payment method in your Scalapay account, by midnight on the due date. If the primary card does not authorise the payment, the system will automatically attempt to charge another card saved in your account.
If no card works (or if you only have one), you will receive an email notification. You can then make the payment manually or wait for a new automatic attempt within 48 hours.
If you need to postpone an instalment, you can do so directly from your account.
Can I return an order paid with Scalapay?
Yes, you can. Returns follow BlueBird's return policy.
Once the return is approved, any unpaid instalments will be cancelled and the amounts already paid will be refunded to the card used for the purchase.How much does Scalapay cost?
Scalapay is a free service, provided that instalments are paid within the established deadlines. A fee will be charged if one or more scheduled payments are not made by the due date. Scalapay will notify you of each payment date a few days in advance via SMS and email.Is it safe to pay with Scalapay?
